Ultra thin hydrocolloid dressing for pressure ulcers

Hydrocolloid dressing is a kind of elastic dressing made of pressure sensitive adhesive with CMC(carboxymethylcellulose) hydrophilic granules. It absorbs wound fluid and provides a moist environment which support the body's healing process and promotes autolytic debridement(removal of necrotic material from the wound) withour damading new tissue. Hydrocolloid dressing also can be combined with semi-permeable matte polyurethane or polyurethane foam to enhance the absorbency. 

Hydrocolloid dressing is applied for slight or moderate exudating wounds like leg ulcer, I-II degree bedsores, superficial and small burn wound, post-operation wound, skin-donor sites, all kinds of superficial wound and cosmetic wound, for granulation and epithelialisation process of chronic wound, etc..
