Product Description
SINGLE USE ABDOMINAL TROCARS AND SUIT

PRODUCT INFO
The disposable trocar is mainly used to puncture the abdominal wall of human body and establish the working channel of abdominal surgery during laparoscopy and surgery. There are three main sections to a trocar:
  1. The cannula. This is the shaft that is inserted into the patient to give access to the abdominal cavity.
  2. The seal. This is found at the top of the cannula and ensures that no air escapes from the abdominal cavity while allowing any necessary equipment to be passed through. If air pressure is not properly maintained during laparoscopy, this can impede the surgeon’s view of the area being operated on.
  3. The obturator. This is the mechanism that enables the cannula to make the initial penetration into the abdomen.
A trocar (or trochar) is a medical or veterinary device that is made up of an awl (which may be a metal or plastic sharpened or non-bladed tip), a cannula (essentially a hollow tube), and a seal. Trocars are placed through the abdomen during laparoscopic surgery. The trocar functions as a portal for the subsequent placement of other instruments, such as graspers, scissors, staplers, etc. Trocars also allow the escape of gas or fluid from organs within the body.

ADVANTAGE

1. Ergonomic obturator provides the control and comfort during the insertion.
2. Two layers of seals secure the least air leakage and most smooth.
3. The bottom seal can be detachable for quick discharge.
4. Clear cannula offers the unobstructed visualization.
5. Advanced design of spiral pattern for the cannula to keep it from moving during the surgical procedure.
6. Increased inner diameter of cannula can accommodate the standard 5-12mm laparoscopic instruments.
7. Compatible with universal seal with 5-12mm instruments.
8. The puncture needle has an internal front to prevent injury during insertion.
9. The-way valves to release the air quickly.

  • The pancreas
  • The small and/or large bowel
  • The spleen
  • The stomach
  • The pelvic area
