Hydrogel sheets wound care dressing type of hydrogel dressings

Product ID : Hydrogel dressing
Product Tags : Hydrogel Dressing
Product Attributes :

Hydrogels are generally used to donate liquid to dry sloughy wounds and facilitate autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue; some also have the ability to absorb very small amounts of exudate.

Product Description

Hydrogel dressing

Hydrogel dressings for wound treatment of diabetics, coupled with clotting disorders, accidental cases, and burn injuries. In addition, accidents and sports related injuries, coupled with investments in schools, sport clubs, and sport institutions to provide proper first-aid medication is fueling demand for hydrogel dressings.

Technological advancements in wound treatment such as amorphous hydrogel dressing for blood clotting in trauma cases, and military accidents are major factors fueling growth of the global hydrogel dressing market.

Classified by wound type:

  • minor burns;
  • painful wounds;
  • partial thickness wounds;
  • full thickness wounds;
  • radiation damage;
  • dry wounds;

Classified by type:

  • Sheet hydrogel;
  • Impregnated hydrogel;
  • Amorphous hydrogel;

Machanisms:

  1. Provide water to the dry scab to help wound debridement autolysis. The necrotic tissue can be wrapped separated and removed.
  2. It can absorb exudates from the wound and keep the wound in moist environment.

Hydrogel dressing performance:

  1. Hydrogels are hydrophilic polymer networks that absorb any kind of liquid including biological fluids. Natural polymers and their derivatives along with synthetic polymers are used to form the hydrogels.
  2. Hydrogels are 3dimensional polymeric units that can take in and keep a huge amount of liquid and other biological fluids by trapping them in their network.
  3. hydrogel dressings are used in the treatment of chronic wounds, burns and other skin injuries, e.g. abrasions. They maintain the optimal wound environment, thanks to which the epidermal processes are accelerated.
  4. Application: burns I, II and III (thermal, chemical, electrical), Sun burns, ulceration, bedsores, other chronic wounds (eg diabetic foot) abrasions, contusions, edema.
  5. Because of the moisture provided to the wound from the hydrogel dressing, common healing phases such as granulation, epidermis repair and the removal of excess dead tissue become simplified.

Application:

  1. Debridement gel applicable to drey-scabbed, decomposed wound, and wound with cabity and sinus tract;
  2. Hydrogel dressing is applicable for all kinds of chronic wound, I-II degree burn wound, skin-donor sites and so on;
  3. It is especially applicable for superficial injury, such as abrasion wound, cut wound and burn wound.
